There are a lot of influences from long presence of Triestine Serbs visible on architecture of downtown Trieste: The Serbian Orthodox Church of Saint Spyridon, Palazzo Gopcevich, Palazzo Scuglievich, etc. Besides General Consulate of the Republic of Serbia which is located in the city and other Serbian institutions and cultural associations, there are also some public places that serve Serbian food and drinks (restaurants, bars, bakeries or grocery stores) where Serbs share their traditions and cuisine among themselves and with others. If you are able to visit these places do that and experience famous Serbian hospitality, tasteful cuisine, traditional drinks, authentic Balkan music and great entertainment.
