Manhattan cocktail


  • 20 g sweet vermouth,
  • 70 g bourbon,
  • 1 tablespoon Angostura bitter,
  • 2-3 ice cubes,
  • 1 maraschino cherry,
  • a little orange peel.


  1. In a tall glass pour the vermouth, whiskey, ice and bitter. Gently stir the drink not to murk it.
  2. Now, in a chilled cocktail glass put the cherry. Strain the mixture into a glass.
  3. Coat the edge of the cup with orange rind and try to wring from it a drop of juice. Bark not put in a cocktail.
