  • 8 medium slices of bread that is not fresh,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 2 cup hot water,
  • 4 tablespoons flour,
  • salt,
  • oil.


  1. Preparation and baking puttee takes about 15 minutes, and foods are provided for 4 people.
  2. Before you bake puttee, shallow bowl, prepare the required plugin: Serbian slice of white cheese with a layer of cream on it and 4 cups of sour milk, yogurt, milk or plain tea. Put oil in frying pan and heat.
  3. During this time, mix egg mixer or wire for whipping. Add water, salt and flour, and mix continues to be all uniform as less batter for pancakes. Immerse the first slice of dough into scrambled and put it in heated oil. It also make quick and with two or three slices, how many can fit in the pan.
  4. Bake for about a minute or two to the stronger, but not the strongest temperature. See if the face turns rosy slices. If so, roll them on the other side of the fork that it is golden brown.
  5. Baked puttee remove and dispose of a large shallow bowl. In frying pan put the new slices submerged in batter. If a smaller pan, bake for several tours with the addition of oil. Serve while still warm.

  1. This reminds me of sihotmeng I’ve made a few times that I love. It’s a store-bought pizza crust, with sauce spread over it (BBQ, marinara or whatever you prefer) and leftover homemade mac n cheese crumbled on top. A little extra shredded cheese and some time in the oven and you have awesome mac n pizza.
